You'd think there is not much you can screw up with a game as simplistic as this one, yet it still manages to be bugged. Attribute boosts from potions or the like don't precisely correspond to what actually gets added, and sometimes the UI just hangs up.Seriously, this game is just poorly made. From the UI (did you know that choosing "Main Menu" while in-game just drops you off at another location in the same dungeon level?), to the writing (merchants approach you with tombs of wisdom. Yep. Not tomes of wisdom, but tombs of it), to its overall performance. If in our age and time a 2D user interface takes half a minute to load in the beginning of the game, you know that the devs don't really give a crap.. Pseudo-dungeon crawler with pseudo-rpg-tag (meaning there'll be some stats to raise), made by greedy and untalented people, who are using standard Unity assets from one "game" to another, without really changing anything.Let me delve into the history a bit. In the 80's and early 90's there were text-based dungeon crawling PC games. Usually it was like "you've entered the room, it has 2 doors ahead of you, you're hearing growling from the left one, and there's silence and darkness after the right one, what you'll do?" You had some "key words", commands, which the game could recognize, like "look around" or "turn left", and that was all the UI you could get. But if you'll dare to draw the map of your way, it was always logical. As the game developer was starting with such a map, and then parsed it into text descriptions. Now, speaking of the Vault of Honor, and The Art Of Knuckle Sandwich, and Destination Dungeon: Crypts of Warthallow, all from the same "developer", they're not working the same way. It's just a random numbers generator, with some events (enemy, empty room, merchant, trap) and some possible outcomes out of each situation. They are mixed, and going out of the black box just as the RNG says. Therefore, you'll meet the merchant in the very first screen, when you don't have any money to spend, and meet some "boss" enemy right after descending the stairs to the next level. You can't plan anything, can't really reach anything, you just clicking "the next" button until you're out of health. So, there is absolutely no sense into playing it. There are no goals, you can't accomplish anything. The only achievement you'll get right after starting and immediately closing this application - like the most of its "users", who paid their money to those greedy people just to have one more "full complete game" achievement for their profiles, without really doing anything. Therefore, mark is nil. It's not worth anything, even the words I'm spending now, is too much for this title. Let it rot, don't touch it, you might catch some illness.... This is nearly identical with "Destination Dungeon: Crypts of Warthallow" and "The Art Of Knuckle Sandwich" from the same developer, just a few different assets used.Very unfinished und unpolished game concept that gets boring very fast, you can pretty much see the whole gameplay in the video. All player action just result in either this moving bar or in pure randomness. Ran out of health with no reliable way of healing. The soundtrack is nice, but gets disturbed by annoying sounds with no options for volume. The current price is by far too high for what you get.. Ruined my achievements. Got 5k just from launching! its ridiculous! there is barely any kind of actual game in here. I bought it for about 3 cents and it was such a waste of money and time!. Good relaxing game. It's very simple - you just need to click mouse button in precise moment. It has some element of strategy: when to flee, when to buy something but this practically doesn'y matter. It is addicive and one round doesn't get too much time. Graphics, music and sound effect are very simple. On minus there are two thing's. first it is too random and even if you play very well you can lose because of this. Second thing is that sometimes the buttons are gray and you must restart game to get them clickable.Overall: 4\/10It is worth buying on sale or with coupon.. Where to begin... The only reason I had stumbled upon this game was because of a 90% off coupon that I had received, so for around $.50 I purchased the game (because I really do enjoy this style of game). After playing 'Vault of Honor' for a couple of hours I cannot wrap my head around the fact that this game is worth $5.49 -- that's a steal! Not in the common sense of the meaning... you're being robbed, darling. What is wrong with this game:1. There is absolutely no sense of accomplishment with this game; there are no achievements, milestones or goals to reach. 2. The lack of a UI becomes an annoyance; there is no button to 'Pick' locks or 'Disarm' traps, instead you simply click anywhere on the screen; unlike Attack\/Defend animations. 3. The most obvious problem with this game is the price; this plays similar to that of a 2004 browser game. How to improve this game:1. Add achievements (reach x floor, kill x monsters, x in game hours, etc); create a lore\/atmosphere that is PRESENT. Give us something to think about in-game rather than having us wonder why we spent whatever we did on this game. 2. Create a UI; make the weapon\/armor drops viewable at the least -- like a gallery to see what they do. It could be tied into the first improvement point if used in a *\/100 sense. 3. Reduce the price. If you add achievements and lower the price down to a more reasonable price of, say, $0.99 then people would definitely purchase it.. Not bad if you just want a casual relaxO game....I beat it in 3 hours, it does have a bug though..when you are moving along occassionlly all the action selections are blanked out, and you are unable to select any of them... My work around was to hit the menu button then hit main menu button...It refreshes your game to where you left off stat wise and level of dungeon, but starts you out at a diffrent spot. It's alright but wouldn't pay anymore than the $3.74 it is now..$1.99 would be a fair price imho.. You get what you paid for, 5K achievements at minimum price. If you\u2019re an achievement hunter looking to increase the number of achievements on your profile showcase, then I highly recommend buying this. Else don\u2019t waste your money. This is not a game, it\u2019s just a way of distributing achievements.. 5000 achievements just for starting... but it's only one achievement and it doesn't do anythign for you. The game is a quicktime event bonanza, complete with a total of one game. Repeated. Forever.
